Building Regulations (Part P)

The section of Building Regulations in England and Wales that covers the installation and modification of electrical wiring. These regulations state that to ensure that the required standards are met, most work must either be carried out by a certified electrician or the work must be tested to the satisfaction of the local Building Control Department.
