Circuit Breaker

A switch-like device that has a pre-set current limit used to protect a circuit from electrical overload. If the circuit breaker is tripped (or activated), it can be reset by pushing a button. However, it is important that the reason for the trip should be investigated as it is an indication of an overload, possible some form of fault.
