Radial Circuit

A power circuit that starts at the Consumer Unit and terminates at the furthest appliance or socket, each socket being connected to the previous one in the circuit - i.e. not in a Ring Main. This type of circuit is only really useable where each circuit connects to just one high power appliance (such as a cooker, shower and so on).
